Youngsters Courses

Puppy Course (under 5 months)

Eligibility: Puppies should have had their first vaccination and be under 5 months old at the start of the course

Lesson Duration: 1 hour each session, 6-week training course Our 6-week puppy course is full of useful information for both experienced and new puppy owners. Each week we focus on a specific topic relating to puppy training:

        • How Dog’s Learn (inc. Clicker Training)
        • Home Life & Daily Routine
        • Socialisation
        • Loose Lead Walking
        • Recall
        • Play!

Adolescent (from 5 months – 24 months)

Youngsters Eligibility: Open to young dogs who have completed a Daybreak puppy course/ or attended a 1-2-1 assessment with one of our team.

These courses are only suitable for well-socialised dogs who are comfortable being around other dogs. If your dog exhibits behaviour such as growling, barking, lunging, snapping at other dogs, people or children, please contact us for a 1-2-1 private lesson or home visit. The lessons puppies learned in puppy class need to be revisited and expanded on so that as they go through that tricky teenage stage, you have the knowledge & skills to steer them through. We set exercises and play games that are such a lot of fun that practicing at home becomes part of the daily routine. Our 6-week course is structured into 6 key topics:

  1. Basics & Self-Control
  2. Creating Great Choices through Crate Games
  3. Loose Lead Walking for Life
  4. Coming Back Despite Real-Life Distractions!
  5. Minding Your Manners!
  6. Testing our Life Skills
